The Omicron -B.1.1.529- complete Genomic Sequence & Mutations
.. . .. . .. . .. plus the Genome of the variant Delta + (δ+).

It's now possible to explore the full genomic sequence of the Omicron -B.1.1.529-, the new variant of the SARS-CoV-2; this is by using SVGM-Explorer (by Department of Biology, University of Saida, Algeria), refer to link below:
https://www.bioinformaticstools.org/viruses/CoV-2_VrntGnms.php

See also image 2.

Clicking on the access code of any variant, like QEUH-2BEC476 (one of the Omicron entries), users will get the genome sequence displayed together with the over 30 mutations (in the Spike protein gene), see image 3, or follow the link:

The SVGM-Explorer which is a module part of the VirusesDb β-v.4.0 database, see the link below, presents data in a "comparison-fashion" to make it easy for the users (scientists/students) to spot differences in the mutations found in the different variants.

VirusesDb β-v.4.0, by the department of Biology, University of Saida, Algeria:

The genome sequences (from many UK regional samples) have recently, 1 December 2021, been made available by the COVID-19 Genomics UK Consortium (COG-UK) project.

Note also that SVGM-Explorer provide genome sequences and associated mutations for what become know as δ+ (Delta Plus), named as lineage AY.4.2, is also a variant of concern or VOC under the UK classification of coronavirus variants, see image 2.

δ+ variant, AY.4.2, is one of a big list of "sub-lineages" of the coronavirus δ variant, B.1.617.2, which has shown a potentially faster-spreading in comparison and has been spotted in the UK and many states in USA.

See the article, 02 Nov 2021:
https://www.nationalgeographic.com/science/article/an-offshoot-of-the-delta-variant-is-rising-in-the-uk

While both Omicron and δ+ variants may spread faster, health authorities around the world have not found evidence of more severe illness caused by the variant, and seem that vaccines remain effective against them; though pending confirmation still.

It's worth to know that COG-UK project has sequenced up to date a 1,557,797 SARS-CoV-2 viruses; see the COVID-19 Genomics UK Consortium at:
https://www.cogconsortium.uk

The ability to spot differences in the mutations and their types between the VOC and VIC existing variants help greatly in assessment of the ability of the available vaccines to provide immunity against the new strains of the COVID-19 disease. Would also help in understanding their potential of disease causing and come up with proper strategies for limiting its spread between people and communities and in principal acquiring the visions to design new drugs and inhibitor medicines and cures against the running unfortunate pandemic disease.
